Do I need to book a consultation?
Before your first grooming appointment with Shampoochon, weâll have a quick consultation. This helps us understand your dogâs needs and make sure we book the right amount of time.
We can do this by phone or message, and weâll chat in more detail when you arrive at the salon.
You wonât need another consultation for future visits unless anything changes.
How do I book an appointment?
Appointments can be booked here by telephone, Whatâs App or text message. Online bookings coming soon!Â
How much will my dogs groom cost?
I offer a range of grooming services tailored to suit both your dog and your lifestyle. You can view my price guide here, and Iâll provide a personalised quote after your consultation.
Every dog is groomed by me, one-to-one, with my full attention from start to finish.
My dog is tatty and matted, can you help?
Yes, I can help. Iâll assess your dogâs coat and talk you through what I can do, depending on how severe the matting is. Please take a look at my de-matting policy for more details.
How soon can I bring my puppy to be groomed?
You can book a Puppy Experience as soon as your puppy has had their vaccinations. Itâs a gentle, one-to-one introduction to the grooming environment. You can find out more about it here. Â
My dog has sensitive skin, can they be groomed?
Yes! I use a selection of mild, natural products that are perfect for dogs with sensitive skin. Iâll always choose the gentlest option for your dog during their one-to-one groom.
My dog has fleas, can they be groomed?
If your dog has fleas, please make sure theyâre treated before their appointment. You can read my full flea policy here. Â
My dog is very anxious and/or aggressive, can you help?
I understand that grooming can be difficult for some dogs, and nervous dogs are always welcome. Iâll work at your dogâs pace and do my very best to help them feel comfortable during their one-to-one groom. Please get in touch to discuss your dog’s needs.
Where is the salon? How do I get there and where can I park?
